Helping you reconnect with yourself through awareness, compassion, and choice.

Long before you had the awareness to choose, you learned ways to cope, protect yourself, and relate to others. Some of those patterns may still help you. Others may now leave you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, disconnected, stuck, or unsure how to create the changes you want.
The good news is that these patterns are not permanent.
(Re)Parenting is learning to relate to yourself with greater awareness, compassion, and intention. As you recognize how your past influences the way you respond today, you can make choices that better support who you are now—not who you had to be to get through difficult experiences.
You take care of everyone else but struggle to take care of yourself.
You feel overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted.
You avoid difficult conversations and struggle to express your needs.
You feel disconnected from needs, desires, or a sense of direction.

If so, you're not alone. Many of these patterns began as a way of adapting to earlier experiences.
What once helped, often continues negatively influencing your relationships, decisions, and well-being today.

Imagine relating to yourself with more compassion instead of criticism
Imagine feeling comfortable expressing your needs
Imagine trusting yourself with difficult conversations
Imagine deeply connected to who you are and how you want to live
These are the kinds of changes many people begin to experience as they practice Re(Parenting).
Every journey is different. Sometimes change happens quickly. Sometimes it unfolds one choice at a time.
This video explains what (Re)Parenting is, why it matters, and practical ways to begin.

For more than three decades, I've worked with people who wanted life to feel different but weren't sure why they kept reacting in the same ways.
Again and again, I came to recognize that many of our emotional reactions, relationship patterns, beliefs, and ways of coping were learned or absorbed long before we had the awareness to choose differently.
That realization transformed not only the way I work, but the way I see myself and others.
Today, I'm passionate about helping people recognize how their past experiences continue to influence the way they respond today, so they can move forward with greater awareness, compassion, and intention instead of repeating old patterns.
Together, Meg and I founded Re(Parenting) Empowerment to provide practical tools, experiential learning, and a compassionate community where people can practice new ways of relating to themselves and others while creating meaningful, lasting change.
It is an honor to walk alongside people as they discover new possibilities for themselves, their relationships, and their future.

Throughout my life, I have found myself fulfilling roles that require the organization and synthesization of information, including emotional information, in order to assist people in various ways. I have worked with all ages guiding, teaching, facilitating, and meeting people where they are in life.
Over the years, through my work and the research I have done on trauma, neuroscience, child development, and other human development topics, I have come to especially value intention and authenticity. I aim to live out these values in all areas of my life.
The (Re)Parenting offerings that Kim and I have created together allow me to honor my dedication to cultivating spaces where people can deeply connect with themselves in order to live as their most authentic selves. It brings me immense joy to utilize my intuitive integration skills to co-create opportunities for self-compassion and chosen vulnerability that can transform lives.
