(Re)Parenting Empowerment respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information thoughtfully and responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit the (Re)Parenting Empowerment website, register for a class, workshop, retreat, training, or other offering, download a free resource, join our email list, contact us, make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us online.

About (Re)Parenting Empowerment

(Re)Parenting Empowerment is a collaborative offering created and facilitated by Kim Holman of 8 Hands Healing, Inc. and Meg Judge of Goodness Gracious Coaching.

(Re)Parenting Empowerment is not a separate corporation or legal entity.

  • Responses you voluntarily provide on participant or registration forms

  • Communications you send to us

  • Basic technical information about your visit to our website, which may include your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and similar website usage information

We encourage you not to provide highly sensitive medical, mental health, or other private information through general website forms or email unless a particular form specifically requests information that is necessary for your participation.

How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • Register you for classes, workshops, retreats, trainings, or other offerings

  • Provide important scheduling, location, preparation, or program information

Sharing Information Between the Collaborating Businesses

Because (Re)Parenting Empowerment is collaboratively provided by 8 Hands Healing, Inc. and Goodness Gracious Coaching, information submitted through (Re)Parenting Empowerment may be shared between these businesses when reasonably necessary to operate the program.

For example, Kim and Meg may both need access to your name, email address, registration information, participant forms, or communications in order to prepare for a class or retreat, communicate with participants, provide materials, or respond to questions.

We do not sell your personal information as part of our ordinary business operations.

Payments

Payments for (Re)Parenting Empowerment offerings are received and processed through 8 Hands Healing, Inc.

We use third-party payment-processing services, including Stripe, to process electronic payments.

We do not intentionally store your complete credit or debit card number within (Re)Parenting Empowerment's own records. Payment information is handled by the applicable payment processor according to its privacy and security practices.

Your receipt, bank statement, or credit card statement may therefore identify 8 Hands Healing, Inc., Stripe, or another applicable payment-processing descriptor rather than (Re)Parenting Empowerment.

Website Forms, Registrations and Email Systems

We currently use HighLevel (also known as GoHighLevel) for functions that may include website forms, registrations, email communications, delivery of free resources, program administration, and online purchases.

Information you submit through these systems may be processed or stored by the service providers we use to operate them.

Email Communications

When you join the (Re)Parenting Empowerment mailing list, by registering for an offering or opting in on the website you will receive educational information, resources, newsletters, announcements, and information about upcoming classes, workshops, retreats, trainings, or other offerings.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by emailing Kim or Meg directly.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent us from sending necessary communications about something you have registered for or purchased.

Text Messages

(Re)Parenting Empowerment does not currently use text messaging through its website or marketing platform for general advertising or promotional campaigns.

Kim or Meg may communicate directly with registered participants by text when appropriate for scheduling, event logistics, changes, reminders, or other information related to an offering for which the participant has registered.

Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Our website and the services we use to operate it may use cookies, analytics tools, pixels, or similar technologies.

These technologies may collect information such as pages visited, browser or device information, approximate location based on IP address, and information about how visitors arrive at and interact with the website.

We may use this information to operate and improve our website, understand how visitors interact with our content, and measure the effectiveness of our communications and outreach.

As our website technology changes, we may update this Privacy Policy to accurately reflect the tools we use.

Other Service Providers

In addition to 8 Hands Healing, Inc. and Goodness Gracious Coaching, information may be shared with trusted service providers when reasonably necessary to operate (Re)Parenting Empowerment.

These may include:

  • Website and customer-management providers

  • Email service providers

  • Registration platforms

  • Payment processors

  • Website hosting and technology providers

  • Analytics providers

  • Professional advisers such as accountants or attorneys when necessary

These providers may have access to information as needed to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by their agreements and applicable law.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our legal rights, safety, property, participants, or others.

Protecting Your Information

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to our activities to help protect personal information.

However, no website, email system, online database, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when deciding what personal information to send electronically.

Educational and Personal-Development Nature of Our Programs

(Re)Parenting Empowerment provides educational and personal-development programs, workshops, trainings, retreats, resources, and related experiences.

Participation in a (Re)Parenting Empowerment offering does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, or other healthcare-provider relationship with (Re)Parenting Empowerment.

Our programs are not intended to diagnose or treat a medical or mental health condition or to replace appropriate care from a qualified healthcare or mental health professional.

Additional information about the nature and limitations of our programs will be provided in our Terms & Conditions and program disclaimers.

Your Choices

You may:

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

  • Ask us to update or correct contact information we maintain about you

  • Ask questions about information you have provided to us

  • Contact us regarding a privacy concern

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.

Children's Privacy

Our website and online programs are intended primarily for adults and are not designed to collect personal information directly from children.

If a particular (Re)Parenting Empowerment offering is designed to include minors, appropriate parent or guardian permissions and additional procedures may apply.
