Why Our Retreats?

When you step away from your daily responsibilities, distractions, and routines, you create room to hear yourself more clearly.

Our retreats combine practical learning, guided reflection, nervous system support, meaningful community, and restorative experiences to help you reconnect with yourself in ways that are often difficult to access in everyday life.

Imagine...

Imagine giving yourself permission to slow down.

Imagine feeling supported instead of responsible for everyone else.

Imagine feeling calmer, clearer, and more connected to yourself.

Imagine returning home with practical tools—not just inspiration—to help you continue creating meaningful change.

What Makes Our Retreats Different?

Rather than simply providing space for relaxation and connection, our retreats also address the root causes of patterns that affect our daily lives.

Every retreat includes...

  • Practical tools you can use in everyday life

  • Guided reflection

  • Nervous system support

  • Somatic practices

  • Time for rest and integration

Our retreats are intentionally designed to create opportunities for sustainable self-connection and transformation.

Meet Kim

For more than three decades, I've worked with people who wanted life to feel different but weren't sure why they kept reacting in the same ways.

Again and again, I came to recognize that many of our emotional reactions, relationship patterns, beliefs, and ways of coping were learned or absorbed long before we had the awareness to choose differently.

That realization transformed not only the way I work, but the way I see myself and others.

Today, I'm passionate about helping people recognize how their past experiences continue to influence the way they respond today, so they can move forward with greater awareness, compassion, and intention instead of repeating old patterns.

Together, Meg and I founded Re(Parenting) Empowerment to provide practical tools, experiential learning, and a compassionate community where people can practice new ways of relating to themselves and others while creating meaningful, lasting change.

It is an honor to walk alongside people as they discover new possibilities for themselves, their relationships, and their future.

Meet Meg

Throughout my life, I have found myself fulfilling roles that require the organization and synthesization of information, including emotional information, in order to assist people in various ways. I have worked with all ages guiding, teaching, facilitating, and meeting people where they are in life.

Over the years, through my work and the research I have done on trauma, neuroscience, child development, and other human development topics, I have come to especially value intention and authenticity. I aim to live out these values in all areas of my life.

The (Re)Parenting offerings that Kim and I have created together allow me to honor my dedication to cultivating spaces where people can deeply connect with themselves in order to live as their most authentic selves. It brings me immense joy to utilize my intuitive integration skills to co-create opportunities for self-compassion and chosen vulnerability that can transform lives.
